More About Me #1

I got my drag name from the Greek deity Nemesis. Nemesis is the goddess of retribution, vengeance, and balance, ensuring people face the consequences of their actions. I am the nemesis of bigotry and hate. I am a firm believer that people must face the consequences of their actions, and I want to see balance and a stronger sense of community in the PNW, especially during these dark times. I am over half Greek and you can trace my family name to the southern parts of the country on the Mediterranean Sea. We are much closer to Palestine and Egypt geographically than we are to England. Greeks have a history in Egypt since the 7th century BC.

Favorite 90's movie: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, because it's about cocks, in frocks, on rocks!

Bit of wisdom to impart on newer drag artists: Know your history and learn from your elders. We have stories and experience to share!

When did you start drag: I have photos of me at 5-7 years old in grandma's moo-moos or my sister's clothes. We just called it playing dress-up, and I would play male and female characters. I started professionally as a drag entertainer in 2009. Within a few months, I joined the regular cast of Lashes at RPlace, where I stayed for 3 and a half years.

Fav artist in Seattle: Too many to name, but I was always super impressed with Jinkx Monsoon (pre Drag Race, of course).

Elvira or Vampira? Elvira (I grew up watching her!)

Iconic Queer artists you’ve worked with: I've performed in shows with many Drag Race girls, including Bebe Zahara Benet, Raja, Jujubee, Jinkx Monsoon (pre-DR), and Aquaria and 3 non Drag Race Queens and Legends, Peaches Christ, Heklina, and ChiChi LaRue. In my time as a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence, I also had the pleasure of working with the incomparable Sandra Bernhard, a queer icon for sure!

What inspires your drag?

My drag is really kind of a mishmash of random things that I love, and have been dying to just express. My love of bright, fun colors, Old Hollywood Glamour, Sailor Moon, all things magical and whimsical. I like to think of what I wanna look like if I came out of the pages of a children’s fantasy storybook.

Favorite drag show in Seattle?

I will always have a soft spot for Lashes. It was one of the first drag shows I ever experienced right before the pandemic, and it’s still the longest running Drag Show in the city.

Favorite season and why?

I always LOVE Spring. Partly because it cures my seasonal depression, and also for the Cherry Blossoms blooming!

Top 3 favorite drag artists?

Duella Dvil, Solana Solstice, Sasha Colby

Barbie, Polly Pocket, Bratz, or Monster High?

To me, Barbie is timeless. She will always be THE icon

Favorite scary movie?

Midsommar

What message would you send to the queers in our community that voted for Trump?

I don’t think there’s anything to even say to those people at this point. Voting for a racist, convicted felon is simply incompatible with being a part of the queer community. No one should be giving them the time of day, and I believe that karma will deal with them accordingly.

What inspired you to do drag?

My inspiration to do drag came from the journey of accepting my non-binary identity. Exploring my feminine side and expressing it through makeup and fashion allowed me to embrace my true self. Drag became a powerful outlet for me to channel my creativity and confidence.

Who are your top 3 favorite drag entertainers in the PNW?

Jack King Goff

Rita LaRue

Stacey Starstruck

(I love you… but you asked for top 3)

Favorite Holiday: Diwali/Deepavali. Also known as festival of light that celebrates overcoming hurdles and celebrating wins.

Favorite Color: Red

3 things on a Deserted Island:

1. My CPAP machine.

2. Solar powered battery to power the CPAP machine.

3. Satellite Phone to call for help next morning to get out of the island.

Accomplishment in drag: winning the Queen of the PNW Bearded Empire 2024

Fav Makeup Brand: Juvia’s place

Fav Movie: Hindi movie called Chandni

Biggest fear: My biggest fear is growing old without being able to lead a decent life in retirement. It’s something that weighs heavily on my mind, especially as I navigate starting over in my 40s.

Age? 12

Biggest fear? Drowning

Favorite drag artist? Alaska Thunderfuck

What one makeup product could you not live without? Chapstick + Lipgloss

One embarrassing fact about yourself. When I was 5 I was jealous of the neighbors dog so I pooped in the backyard and my mom thought it was the neighbors dog and she made my brother clean it up bc he would play with the dog in our backyard. Still haven’t told either of them.

What inspires your drag? Republicans constantly calling us sick freaks. I decided if they were gonna call the most milquetoast gays freaks and abominations I’d up the ante to make everyone else look better.

How long have you been doing drag? Been cross dressing since I was a child but professionally and regularly doing drag for about 5 years

Favorite color? Leopard print

Favorite movie? Romi & Michelle’s High school reunion

What local drag show would you recommend the most and why? I’m almost always seated for It girl (4th Wednesdays at Unicorn hosted by Pupusa and…I forget the other one’s name) And anything featuring Mona Real, she’s my favorite local performer!
